At the heart of many a rages is how often must one acknowledge people whom he knows? Birth into a family which by default finds itself in thick of a social web complicates things so fucking much, it causes rage enough to take an axe and behead all those who feel their egos have been hurt just because they didn't hold any merit in my scheme of things. But if I go to them the next time they will make sure to kick my ass, though not before having a cup of tea. Problem is will my ego be hurt if they do the same with me? Yes, it does happen so. I defend it by assuming that my reason for not giving a shit about them is different and more genuine than his reason for doing so, which is actually true in the larger frame of reference. I might not matter to people because I don't touch upon their business in any way, but I will say that I don't care about him because of his innate nature that in some way contradicts my expectations of him or rather my perception of his being. This might mean he has displayed tendencies which I believe are not warranted and causally speaking are result of some misplaced beliefs on his part.
I defend this line of thinking by citing examples from around me. If I look at my parents, even they are in the same thick, and why at that age it is difficult to transcend their fears and what it implies is an infantile approach which is embedded so deep that the guise of adulthood has deceived them as well. And they are so confident! With such poise they don't hesitate to throw behavioural insights at me and expect that with all due respect I must not err from conforming to them. I don't understand. If ever I fail to live up to any of these expectations, how less a son do I become? Is it I who doesn't understand the finesse of this web or is there some fundamental fault somewhere? If there is a fault, how come everyone treads over it as if it's nothing. Even if I assume for a moment that what ever be just be as it is, then the fault needs to be internalized by everyone who has a stake in the system. This means, there is no system or rather there is no invisible hand which forms the underlying basis of anything. Point is that at any given time the system is only what really exists at that moment rather than depend on some external agency outside the realm of human beings. In that case, whatever our future actions might be, they will only be decided by certain events that have happened in past, but which now have become part of our conscience and memory, and whatever consequence they might have, the whole impetus falls upon them.
